My story
I've had a passion for birth since I was young, captivated by birth shows on The Discovery Network and TLC. After watching the documentary, "The Business of Being Born," I knew that I wanted to work in the space. Delving into books like Ina May Gaskin's "Guide to Childbirth" further fueled my curiosity and ignited my determination. In fact, my college thesis focused on the significance of skin-to-skin contact in the hours following birth.
During my DONA birth doula training, I had the opportunity to explore HypnoBirthing. The simplicity and holistic approach of this technique resonated with me profoundly. Within HypnoBirthing, I discovered a transformative path that empowers mothers and their partners to embrace a gentle and serene birthing experience. HypnoBirthing offers an intuitive and practical method of birthing that works with mothers and their partners holistically. I try to live my life in such a way and I hope to journey with you as you try to live yours.

After spending several years working as a doula in Boston, I moved home to Philly to continue my work in this vibrant city.

I find a deep sense of wellbeing through spirituality and faith. I was raised in a loving and faith-filled Catholic family and my upbringing provided me with a strong appreciation for the spiritual aspects of life's most significant moments. I discovered my calling to support expecting mothers in a way that goes beyond the physical aspects of childbirth. Spirituality and birth are deeply intertwined because they both evoke a sense of profound connectedness, celebration of life's sacredness. People of various faith traditions or spiritual beliefs can bring their unique perspectives to enrich the journey of childbirth.
